Me at a high school robotics competition

Hi, I’m Atman and I’m an undergraduate at Georgia Tech studying computer engineering with a focus on machine learning applications in robotics. I picked up my interest in software development through competing in FIRST robotics from middle school up until graduation. I loved developing intelligent algorithms to automate complex tasks and I knew that I wanted to continue exploring software and robotics after high school.

These past few years I’ve learned more about this domain by developing personal projects and interning. Through my personal projects (that are showcased on this website), I’ve learned about foundational principles of machine learning that inform the algorithms of intelligent robotics. Designing my own convolutional neural network, for example, granted me broader insight on how many neural networks can be designed and a deeper understanding of how CNNs work.

Through my internship experience, I’ve learned to develop software in an enterprise setting. Working with a team of software engineers requires one to be adaptive and I’ve been through many cycles of having to pick up skills in a short timeframe between my three past internships. I also have experience working on critical software skills like database design, cloud computing, and api design.
